Young People Awards & Grants 2010

The Alde Community Council are making the following awards in 2010 to encourage, recognise and celebrate the young people living in Bruisyard, Rendham and Sweffling:

Young Achievers’ Awards: up to 8 awards will be made to individuals between 7-21 years whose work has been inspirational to other young people, beneficial to the community or environment, or demonstrates personal success in overcoming adversity or disability. A Certificate of Achievement together with a cheque or gift voucher for £25 will be presented at the ACC’s AGM in Spring 2011.

Young People’s Opportunities Grants: One-off grants of up to £50 to help enable a young person to take up an opportunity in the Arts, further learning, sports, volunteering, community work etc. It is hoped that successful Applicants can use their grants before the ACC’s AGM in Spring 2011 when they will be asked to give a short presentation on their experiences.
