  • Pub Night - every Thursday: In the Village Hall from 7.30pm. Come along for drinks, pub games, live music and gossip! Bruisyard's village pub is open!

 

  • 'Bruisyard Young People' - every Wednesday: In the Village Hall from 6.00 to 7.30pm. Lots of activities and fun - don't miss out - all welcome! For more information please contact John Marten (tel: 638057).

 

  • Pilates Course - every Tuesday: Time to tone up your figure! A new 7 week course started on Tuesday 3 January. The course is held in the Village Hall from 9.30 to 10.30am every Tuesday. The course run by Stella Robbins is suitable for beginners and improvers. The total cost for the course is £56.   • Cribbage Evenings - every other Tuesday: In the Village Hall from 7pm. Starting Tuesday 4 October, local cribbage team home games. Everyone welcome to drop in and have a drink. Bar open.

  

  • Afternoon tea and biscuits - every Tuesday afternoon: In the Village Hall from 2 to 4pm - free entry. Come along for tea and biscuits with friends and neighbours. Carpet bowls, arts and crafts etc for those who wish to take part - or just come along for a chat.

 

  • Jumble Sale - Saturday 21 January: In Sweffling Hut from 10am to 12.00noon. A team of workers from Tools with a Mission, a Christian organisation based in Ipswich, is answering a special request to build rainwater harvesting tanks for villagers in Kabale, South Uganda. Please come to our bring and buy jumble and help us to raise at least £250. That's all it needs to build one tank.

  

  • Coral Stebbings Dance Cabaret - Saturday 11 February: In the Village Hall

 

  • Soup and Sweet Lunch - Wednesday 15 February: Come and join us for our 'world famous Soup and Sweet lunch' at 12.30pm in the Village Hall for a bargain £3. All the soups and sweets are homemade and delicious. Doors open 12.00 noon. For more details please contact John and teresa McKee on 663515. Proceeds in aid of the Church and Village Hall.

 

  • Film Night - Saturday 18 February: In the Village Hall, bar open from 7.15pm. Main attraction starts at 7.45pm. Suggested donation £2 per person;
