Bruisyard Flood Co-ordination Group

The torrential rain caused by Storm Babet in October 2023 resulted in a number of homes being flooded and considerable disruption to the road network in and around the village. A meeting arranged by Sonia Richards was held in the Village Hall on 17 June attended by the District Councillor Vince Langdon-Morris, local farmers, landowners and a number of residents from Bruisyard and neighbouring villages. A group has been set up which will liaise with other villages and our district councillors to find a way to help prevent further flooding, and to help make our homes more flood proof. For further information or if you wish to offer help, please contact Sonia Richards
